She had waited nearly two years for his return or word if he was even still alive. They had both suffered at the dead king's hands. But surely, he wouldn't keep punishing himself for it.

They had a son together; one he had never met. Kyra didn't want to keep him in the dark about it and she had planned to tell his. It was never the right time. The kingdom under attack. Or some other matter coming up. Then it was too late. He left before she had gotten the nerve up to tell him. So, she waited for his return and wait some more. Finally tired of waiting and wanting more
for her son. She accepts the invitation from Odette to take a break from her life in the exotic land across the sea.

​She packs up her son and together they leave. Little does she know once there. She will never return to the north lands with its war and hatred of magic. The desert people and their open acceptance of magic are intoxicating to one who grew up around fear and mistrust. To be able to open up her own show selling enchantment openly among humans wasn't every dark elves dream. But it was one of hers. Her son plays behind the counter or in the back room while she explains to her patrons what tonics or charms to use. (Kyra's Story line is linked to that of Odette's. They are often played together.
